Undefeated Ukrainian Petro Ivanov (12-0-2, 7 KO’s) will fight German Yusuf Kanguel (19-3-1, 12 KO’s) for the World Boxing Council Super Middleweight Silver International title, tomorrow October 16 in Baden- Württemberg, Germany.
Ivanov, 24, is coming from a UD, defeating compatriot Roman Shkarupa earlier this year. For his part, Kanguel, 36, comes from knocking out Bosnian Adnan Hadzihajdic in three rounds in July last year.
In another interesting match, Germany-based Ukrainian Andrii Velikovskyi (17-2-1, 10 KO’s) will face Armenian Anatoli Hunanyan (9-6-1, 5 K’s) for the vacant WBC Asia middleweight title.
The weigh-in took place this Thursday without any setback.
Ivanov tipped 166.4 pounds while Kanguel tipped 165.5 pounds. While Andrii tipped 158.5 pounds and Anatoli 159.3 pounds.
The card is promoted by Christian Tilze and the match supervisor will be WBC Vice President Houcine Houichi.
