American fighter, Jessica McCaskill successfully defended her WBC super lightweight crown for the second time, by defeating tough Erica “Pantera” Farias in a rematch.
On the first occasion they met last year, Jessica was the fighter who imposed the pace of the fight and who maintained control of the actions. Although this rematch was not as entertaining as the first encounter due to constant holding, Jessica managed to win a majority decision.
At the end of the contest, McCaskill said she was ready to face all comers.
A forthcoming fight between Briton Chantelle Cameron and Anahi Sanchez will determine who her next mandatory challenger will be.
